Jurnalista.Id, Makassar — Pemerintah Kelurahan Parang Layang bersama Pemerintah Kota Makassar dan Pemerintah Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan melakukan penertiban lapak pedagang kaki lima (PK5) di sekitar kawasan SMK Negeri 4 Makassar, Kamis, 23/4/2026.
Lurah Parang Layang, Sry Nurlaela, menyampaikan bahwa pembongkaran tersebut merupakan bagian dari tindak lanjut kebijakan pemerintah dalam menata kembali aset dan fasilitas umum.
“Pembongkaran ini merupakan perintah dari pemerintah pusat. SMK Negeri 4 adalah aset provinsi, sementara wilayah di sekitarnya masuk dalam administrasi Kota Makassar. Alhamdulillah, kolaborasi antara provinsi dan kota berjalan dengan baik,” ujarnya.
Ia menjelaskan, proses penertiban telah dilakukan sesuai prosedur yang berlaku, mulai dari pemberian Surat Peringatan (SP1), SP2, hingga SP3, disertai pendekatan persuasif kepada para pelaku usaha.
“Alhamdulillah, para pelaku usaha melakukan pembongkaran secara mandiri tanpa perlawanan. Ini menunjukkan adanya kesadaran bersama,” tambahnya.
Sebanyak 88 lapak aktif tercatat ditertibkan dalam kegiatan tersebut, khususnya di wilayah Parang Layang. Lapak-lapak tersebut diketahui telah berdiri kurang lebih selama 35 tahun.
Menurut Sry Nurlaela, masyarakat pada umumnya mendukung langkah pemerintah karena kawasan tersebut akan dikembalikan sesuai fungsi sebagai fasilitas umum.
“Warga mendukung karena ini untuk kepentingan bersama. Ke depan, kawasan ini akan ditata dan difungsikan sebagaimana mestinya,” jelasnya.
Terkait nasib para pedagang yang terdampak, pihak kelurahan belum dapat memastikan langkah lanjutan, termasuk soal bantuan. Namun, pendataan telah dilakukan sejak sebelum penerbitan SP1.
“Data pelaku usaha sudah kami miliki. Untuk bantuan, tentu masih membutuhkan proses lebih lanjut,” tutupnya.
