JURNALISTA.ID, MAKASSAR — Lurah Gaddong, Kecamatan Bontoala, Kota Makassar, Rakhmawaty Mattayang, S.Pd, S.M., M.M, menyoroti keras keberadaan lapak penjual sarabba yang berdiri di atas saluran drainase yang telah dicor secara semi permanen di Jalan Sungai Cerekang, Selasa (27/1/2026).
Temuan tersebut terungkap saat pihak kelurahan melakukan sosialisasi aturan pemerintah di wilayah tersebut. Lurah Gaddong mengaku terkejut karena selain melanggar fungsi drainase, lokasi tersebut juga diduga menjadi objek praktik penyewaan lahan oleh oknum tertentu.
“Kami tidak mengusur pedagang, tapi kami harus mengarahkan. Tidak boleh ada aktivitas jualan di atas drainase, apalagi sampai dicor. Itu jelas melanggar dan berbahaya,” tegas Rakhmawaty di lokasi.
Ia menegaskan, drainase merupakan fasilitas umum yang tidak boleh dimanfaatkan untuk kepentingan pribadi, terlebih jika diperjualbelikan dalam bentuk sewa. Menurutnya, tindakan tersebut dapat mengganggu fungsi saluran air dan berpotensi menimbulkan genangan saat musim hujan.
Berdasarkan informasi yang dihimpun di lapangan, nilai sewa lapak disebut bervariasi, mulai dari Rp500 ribu per bulan hingga mencapai puluhan juta rupiah per tahun. Bahkan, sebagian pedagang diketahui berasal dari luar wilayah Kelurahan Gaddong.
Sebagai langkah awal, pihak kelurahan telah memberikan Surat Peringatan (SP) 1 kepada para pedagang yang berjualan di atas drainase. Pendekatan persuasif dan pembinaan dikedepankan sebelum dilakukan tindakan lanjutan.
“Kami ingin menertibkan dengan cara yang baik. Tapi jika tidak diindahkan, tentu akan ada langkah lanjutan sesuai aturan yang berlaku,” ujarnya.
Pemerintah Kelurahan Gaddong menegaskan akan terus melakukan pengawasan dan penertiban demi menjaga ketertiban umum, keselamatan lingkungan, serta mencegah penyalahgunaan fasilitas publik.
Tabe pak kita sampaikan juga ibu lurah gaddong, TPS dijalan GUNUNGLATIMOJONG 2 mengganggu aktivitas warga sekitar dengan banyak nya volume sampah dari semua kelirah di kecamatan bontoala. Drainase juga terhambat karena banyak nya tumpukan samapah. Jangan hanya pedagang kecil yang di perlakukan seperti ini tapi fasilitas umum lainnya seperti jalanan umum yang tidak boleh diganggu pergerakan warganya.
