JURNALISTA.ID, MAROS — Suasana mencekam menyelimuti Kelurahan Bontoa, Kecamatan Bontoa, Kabupaten Maros, Selasa siang (20/1/2026). Hujan deras disertai angin puting beliung menerjang kawasan Jalan Andi Raja Panjallingan sekitar pukul 14.00 WITA, menyebabkan kerusakan parah di sejumlah titik.
Berdasarkan data sementara, sedikitnya 15 rumah warga dilaporkan rusak berat, bahkan beberapa di antaranya ambruk rata dengan tanah. Tak hanya hunian, aktivitas ekonomi warga turut lumpuh setelah sejumlah warung yang menjadi sumber penghidupan rusak diterjang angin kencang.
Pantauan di lokasi menunjukkan warga memadati area terdampak, menyaksikan puing-puing bangunan yang berserakan. Akses jalan di sekitar Jalan Andi Raja Panjallingan sempat terganggu akibat tiang listrik yang tumbang dan melintang di badan jalan, sehingga membahayakan pengguna jalan.
Kepala Dusun Panjallingan, Faisal, yang berada di lokasi kejadian, berharap pemerintah daerah segera turun tangan membantu warga terdampak. Menurutnya, kebutuhan paling mendesak saat ini adalah material bangunan.
“Kami sangat berharap pemerintah segera menurunkan bantuan, terutama bahan bangunan seperti seng dan balok kayu agar warga bisa segera memperbaiki rumah mereka,” ujar Faisal.
Sementara itu, Lurah Bontoa, Haji Saipul, menyatakan pihak kelurahan telah melakukan pendataan awal dan akan segera melaporkan kejadian tersebut ke instansi terkait.
“Kami sedang melakukan pendataan dan akan segera melaporkan ke dinas terkait agar bantuan logistik maupun material bisa segera disalurkan,” tegasnya.
Hingga berita ini diturunkan, warga bersama aparat setempat masih bergotong royong membersihkan puing-puing bangunan, meski cuaca di wilayah Kabupaten Maros masih terpantau mendung.
