JURNALISTA.ID, MAKASSAR — Sebanyak 6.032 Ketua Rukun Tetangga (RT) dan Ketua Rukun Warga (RW) hasil Pemilihan RT/RW resmi dilantik dan dikukuhkan oleh Wali Kota Makassar Munafri Arifuddin dalam upacara pelantikan yang digelar di Tribun Lapangan Karebosi, Jalan Jenderal Sudirman, Senin (29/12/2025).
Ribuan Ketua RT/RW yang dilantik tersebut terdiri dari 5.027 Ketua RT dan 1.005 Ketua RW terpilih dari seluruh kelurahan di Kota Makassar.
Pelantikan massal ini dilaksanakan pada akhir tahun 2025 sebagai bagian dari penataan kelembagaan pemerintahan di tingkat lingkungan.Prosesi pelantikan diawali dengan pengambilan sumpah jabatan yang dipimpin langsung oleh Wali Kota Makassar.
Dalam sumpahnya, para Ketua RT dan RW menyatakan kesetiaan kepada negara dan komitmen menjalankan tugas dengan penuh tanggung jawab.
“Demi Allah, saya bersumpah akan setia dan taat kepada Undang-Undang Dasar Negara Republik Indonesia Tahun 1945, serta akan menjalankan segala peraturan perundang-undangan dengan sepenuhnya demi darma bakti saya kepada bangsa dan negara,” ucap Wali Kota Makassar Munafri Arifuddin saat memimpin pengucapan sumpah.
Dalam sumpah tersebut, para Ketua RT dan RW juga berjanji untuk menjunjung tinggi etika jabatan, bekerja dengan sebaik-baiknya, penuh rasa tanggung jawab, serta menjaga integritas dan tidak menyalahgunakan kewenangan.
“Saya akan menjaga integritas, tidak menyalahgunakan kewenangan, serta menghindarkan diri dari perbuatan tercela,” lanjut penggalan sumpah jabatan.
Usai pengucapan sumpah jabatan, Wali Kota Makassar Munafri Arifuddin bersama unsur Forum Koordinasi Pimpinan Daerah (Forkopimda) Kota Makassar melakukan penyematan rompi RT/RW secara simbolis kepada perwakilan Ketua RT dan RW terpilih sebagai tanda resmi dimulainya masa bakti.
Pemerintah Kota Makassar menegaskan bahwa Ketua RT dan RW merupakan ujung tombak pelayanan pemerintahan di tingkat paling bawah yang memiliki peran strategis dalam menjaga ketertiban lingkungan, memperkuat partisipasi masyarakat, serta menjadi penghubung antara warga dan pemerintah.
Pelantikan ini sekaligus menandai dimulainya masa tugas Ketua RT dan RW hasil Pemilihan RT/RW serentak yang dilaksanakan sesuai ketentuan dan peraturan perundang-undangan yang berlaku di Kota Makassar.
